City Financial Independent is involved in helping to develop youth football in the East of Scotland area. The company sponsors the Eastern Region Youth FA Cups between the ages of 12 and 21. The Cup Finals are played at Hallhill in Dunbar at the end of May or start of June and are run over a weekend. City Financial Independent ensures a Gala Day event experience for all who come along.

Over the last four years City Financial Independent has built strong links with The Royal Scots Regiment (now the Royal Regiment of Scotland, 1st Battalion). Part of this has seen the company sponsoring the annual Rugby Sevens tournament that is held at Dreghorn Barracks each May.
